Background

Along with being a registered psychotherapist, I am also a certified Strozzi Somatics coach and a movement-based expressive arts practitioner with more than 20 years-experience. From 1993- 1998 I had the good fortune to teach on core faculty with expressive therapy pioneers Anna & Daria Halprin at the Tamalpa Institute in California,USA.
I work with clients in individual and group settings and have been a guest presenter at several Universities in the US. I completed a Master of Mental Health in the field of psychotherapy through the University of Queensland's Faculty of Medicine. I have led somatic and expressive arts groups and offered individual psychotherapy at an inpatient mental health ward in northern NSW.

For me, working with embodiment is a calling. I am passionate about meeting my clients where they are in their current lived experience, without judgement, and connecting them with the wisdom, strengths and creative solutions arising from their own body/mind.
